Charity providing activities, short breaks and youth groups for disabled children and young people in Kent and Medway. Activities provide opportunities for social interaction, play and recreation. Requires membership and completed support plan.
In-person parent support group for parents of autistic/ADHD children. Meets Mondays (term-time) 10am-11.30am and 1st Wednesday of each month 6pm-8pm at Northview Hall, Swanley. FREE to attend. No referral or diagnosis needed.
Kent Youth service provides youth groups and activities including those specifically for young people with SEND. Check your local district for youth clubs with autism-friendly or inclusive sessions.
LEGO-based therapy uses shared LEGO building to develop social communication, turn-taking, and collaborative skills. Many Kent schools and settings offer this. Ask your child's school if they have a LEGO therapy group or search for providers.
