SENDPath ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data when you visit www.sendpath.uk ("the Site").

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

a) Data you give us directly

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, collected via Formspree (see section 5).
  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the message content you submit.
  • Listing suggestions: any information you choose to submit about a service you suggest.

b) Data collected automatically

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We use GA4 to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 collects anonymised data about page views, session duration, device type, browser, approximate location (country/region), and traffic sources. GA4 uses cookies. See section 4.
  • Google AdSense (planned): We may in future use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Site and other websites. This is called "personalised advertising." You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or your Google Ads Settings. This policy will be updated before AdSense is enabled.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log your IP address and browser information for security and performance purposes.

  • To send you the SENDPath newsletter (if you sign up) — legal basis: consent.
  • To respond to your contact form enquiries — legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • To analyse site usage via Google Analytics and improve the Site — legal basis: legitimate interests (with your consent for cookies).
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse — legal basis: legitimate interests.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Essential cookies: used to remember your cookie consent preference (stored locally in your browser).
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): collect anonymised data about site usage. These are only set if you accept cookies via our cookie banner.
  • Advertising cookies (Google AdSense — future): if AdSense is enabled, Google and its third-party partners will set cookies to show relevant ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or via your Google Ads Settings.

You can manage cookies via your browser settings or by clicking "Decline" on our cookie banner. Declining analytics/advertising cookies will not prevent you from using the Site.

If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is stored via Formspree and used solely to send SENDPath updates. We do not share your email with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by emailing us at hello@sendpath.uk.

  • Contact form submissions: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Newsletter email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default settings (up to 14 months).

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

9. Children's privacy

SENDPath is a directory resource for parents and carers of disabled children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 18, please use this site with the guidance of a parent or carer.

Our directory links to external websites (schools, services, organisations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reading their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Site. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
