KCHFTās community paediatrics website provides sleep presentations, videos and other resources for families, including material developed with autistic young people. This resource page is not evidence of an all-Kent, all-age specialist clinic or automatic referral eligibility.
For a persistent sleep concern, discuss the appropriate local support with your childās healthcare professional.
NHS parent-friendly information on children's sleep including tips for creating calm bedtime environments. Particularly relevant for children with additional needs who may have sleep difficulties.
KCHFTās Community Dietetics Team provides specialist nutrition advice for children and families. A GP or another qualified healthcare professional must refer, and the child must be registered with a GP in Kent. Service criteria apply; ask the GP about referral and seek their advice if a condition worsens while waiting.
Referral by GP or qualified healthcare professional, subject to criteria.
Spectrum Dietetics, Lisa Holmesās website, advertises dietetic advice and support for autistic children and adults and people with ADHD. Confirm the practitionerās current HCPC registration, service location, age criteria, fees and clinical scope before booking. The listing does not substantiate claims that diets treat autism or ADHD.
Location, current registration and availability require confirmation.
KCHFTās Childrenās Bladder and Bowel Nursing Team has different criteria by area and symptom. In the listed east Kent GP areas, referrals follow initial healthcare support, with age thresholds for constipation and daytime wetting; bedwetting alone is excluded from that route. Medwayās published route covers ages 4ā18 after initial support. Check the criteria for your childās area.
Contact: 0300 013 2077, option 1. This is not an emergency service.
NHS childrenās physiotherapy supports eligible children with movement and physical-development difficulties. The current referral page sets clinical and local criteria: east, north and west Kent require a professional referral; parents can refer in south east Kent where criteria are met.
Use the current referral page for the correct locality and assessment criteria.
The Infant Sleep Consultants website now states that the collective practice is no longer accepting new enquiries. It links to the consultantsā separate businesses. Do not treat the former collective listing as a currently bookable Kent clinic; check any individual serviceās current scope, location, qualifications and fees.
For a persistent or concerning sleep problem, discuss appropriate support with the childās healthcare professional.
