IPSEA: SEND advice for families in England

IPSEA means Independent Provider of Special Education Advice. It offers free SEND legal information and advice for families in England, including Kent and Medway. This is a national service, not a Kent clinic.

Choose the relevant service

The Advice Line provides appointment-based telephone guidance about current SEND education issues. Check its service conditions and booking calendar; demand is high and an appointment is not guaranteed. IPSEA says it cannot provide this advice if you already receive ongoing support from a solicitor or other advocate.

For an appeal or a disability-discrimination claim in the SEND Tribunal, use IPSEA’s official website to find the Tribunal Helpline and its eligibility and booking information. Do not assume that an advice appointment includes ongoing casework or representation.
